Evaluate your antibodies of choice for your application of interest, even if the species or application is not listed on the Technical Specification data sheet. If the antibody does not perform to your satisfaction, we’ll simply issue you a credit.

Purchase one or more antibodies from Assay Designs using trial code CAB090407.
Evaluate them for your application and species of choice within 3 months of receipt.
If the evaluation was unsuccessful, submit your results with an explanation of the trial to receive credit.

Q: I want to use your antibody for a particular application or species that isn’t listed on the product’s Technical Specification sheet. Will it work?	A: The worry-free antibody trial program is specifically tailored for this circumstance. The Technical Specification sheet will include any applications or species that have been tested in-house. If we have not tested an application or a specific species, we will be happy to help guide you with your experiments. If the product does not work, we will issue you a credit for the product in exchange for your data.
Q: What is the appropriate dilution of the primary antibody for my application?	A: If we have tested the application of choice, a recommended dilution or concentration will be included on the Technical Specification sheet. However, the appropriate dilution is best determined by each end user since application conditions may affect the optimum amount required. If we have not tested the application, the antibody should be titered for the specific application.
Q: Can you send me a protocol for a specific application?	A: Our website contains general protocols for various applications (Western blot, Immuno-histochemistry, Immunocytochemistry, Immuno-precipitation, Flow cytometry, and others). These protocols are merely a starting place and need to be tailored for specific antibodies or sample types.
Q: If the antibody I purchase does not work, how do I receive my credit?	A: We know that your time is important and want to make sure that you get the most out of your antibody. To get credit, go to and fill out the troubleshooting form. Our technical support staff will then contact you for any suggestions with troubleshooting steps. If at this time you still feel the antibody did not perform to your satisfaction, we will be happy to issue you a credit.
Q: How long will it take to process the credit and how long will the credit be available on my account?	A: The credit will be processed immediately and will be available on your account for an indefinite amount of time. However, please try to use your credit within 6 months.
Q: What may I use my credit for?	A: You may use your credit towards the purchase of any other products from Assay Designs.
Q: Do I need to contact your technical support department within a certain amount of time in order to receive the credit?	A: Please fill out the troubleshooting form found on our webpage within one month of receiving the antibody.
Q: Will the shipping and handling charges be refunded if the antibody does not work?	A: Yes.
Q: I didn’t use a trial code when I placed my antibody order; can I still apply for the credit?	A: Unfortunately, no. Only those antibodies purchased using the trial code are eligible for this credit.
