Background
Hsp110 is a cytosolic mammalian heat shock protein, and a distant relative of the Hsp70 family of heat shock proteins. Hsp110 (and its yeast homologs Sse1/2) cooperates with Hsp70 in protein folding in the eukaryotic cytosol, catalyzing efficient nucleotide exchange on Hsp70.
